We are not talking about the dusty image of the old jeweler. No, it's hip and fresh. In approximately 1.5 hours (2 hours extended variant) you will become acquainted with one of the coolest crafts there is. You will be working with real precious metal, namely .925 silver or 14k gold. You can choose from various real gemstones and process them into a beautiful ring or pendant. Ultimately, there is also the option of gold-plating your silver jewelry with a thick layer of 14k gold.

  • Standard Workshop

    During the standard workshop you will make a beautiful silver, gold-plated or 14k gold ring with a gemstone under the guidance of our goldsmith. You will learn to solder, stamp, polish and set, among other things. Everyone makes the same design, but you are free to choose your gemstone (agate, moonstone, onyx, etc.). You can make your choice based on which stone you like, but you can also choose the meaning of the gemstone.

  • Extensive workshop

    During the extensive workshop you will do quite a bit more than during the standard workshop. You will learn to bend, solder, saw, file and much more. This workshop will take you approximately 2 hours (this may vary depending on the number of people). You have the option to make a pendant or a ring. Ultimately, you also have the option to purchase a chain for the pendant. The gemstone that you will use for the extensive workshop is oval and a lot larger than the standard version.

  • Pendant workshop

    Design : stone 14 x 10 mm oval and cabochon cut with serrated edge and closed back

    Steps : stamp the back, solder the setting edge to the base plate, saw out, set the stone, polish

    Don't wear rings or have you already followed those workshops? Then our pendant workshop is really something for you. You can make this pendant super personal by also having the option to stamp the back with initials if you want. We also have many chains in stock that you can purchase to finish it off completely.

  • Wide ring binder / Men's ring workshop

    Design : rectangular ring binder 5.0 x 1.2 mm

    Steps : choose ring size, solder, hammer round, stamp with 925, possibly hammer, polish matt or glossy.

    A popular one among men, but certainly also among women, is our wide ring binder workshop. Here you get to work with a wide piece of silver and first bend it into a ring binder. Then solder, round, stamp and possibly finish with a hammered finish. Do you prefer a matte finish or a shiny one? The photo above shows a smooth matte ring on the left and a hammered shiny one on the right. You basically make the ring in silver and have the option to have it gold plated.

Our workshop in Breda is suitable for ages 10 and older. Are you having a party, a fun evening with friends, a bachelor party, a company outing or whatever occasion, everyone will enjoy this. You can participate with 0 experience and will definitely go home with something nice. Now I hear you thinking, I know someone with 2 left hands who will not be able to do this, yes, that person will also make a beautiful ring with our expert guidance.

The workshop takes place in our studio on the 1st floor of our building on Halstraat in Breda. We have created a real summer vibe, lots of color and lots of plants, a real Australian living room. You also have access to a roof terrace, which looks like a Classic Urban Jungle.

The standard workshop lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours. The extensive workshop lasts approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This depends on the group size.

Our bar is open during the workshop in Breda. Our refrigerators are amply stocked with delicious (non)alcoholic snacks. It is also possible to enjoy a high tea or a delicious BBQ. Would you like to have your ring engraved? This is also possible. You can decide this on the day itself. It might be nice to mention the date of the workshop or perhaps your own name. We will do the work for you for an additional charge of €10.00 per ring.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When can you follow the workshop? You can come to us 7 days a week. Only in the weekends we have starting times of 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 or 17:00. During the week you can start between 10:00 and 16:00.
  • Are drinks included in the price? Drinks are not included in the price.
  • Where is the best place to park? Everything in the city centre is fairly close. The Sphinx quarter is a cheaper option at just under a 10 minute walk.
  • Do I have to pay in advance or make a deposit? No, you can pay on location after the workshop.
  • Can we still change designs during the workshop? This is not possible in principle. In exceptional cases and in consultation, we can always see what we can arrange.
  • Do I have to indicate in advance if I want my jewellery to be gold plated? No, you can decide this on the day itself.
  • How does gilding work? You leave the ring with us. It then goes to an external party and you lose the ring for a few weeks. There is no point in calling or emailing to see if your jewelry has arrived yet. When it has arrived with us, we will let you know the same day.
